These terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Purchase of Goods
Our web site allows you to shop online, but orders may also be placed by post or fax.
To shop online, please browse our full catalogue and select items to add to your shopping basket. You can check your basket at any time, and remove unwanted items by clicking on the 'remove' button.
When you register with the Classic Garden Games web site, you will be required to choose a contact email address and password. You are responsible for all sessions and transactions taken under these details. You should keep your password safe and not disclose it to anyone. You should change it immediately if you feel it has been compromised.
When you have finished choosing, click on "Check Out" to move to the checkout stage. You will be asked for the details that Classic Garden Games needs to fulfil your order.
Classic Garden Games accept credit card payments which are processed using a secure server. Payments are processed by PayPal, and they take care of all security issues. Their system is set up to charge credit and debit cards in Sterling. You can pay by Cheque, sent to our trading address, and goods will be dispatched on clearance of funds.
Classic Garden Games must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted, and the contract formed. Once payment has been received, Classic Garden Games will confirm that your order has been received by sending an email to you at the email address you provide in your registration form. The shipment email will include your name, the order number and the total price. Classic Garden Games acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us on these terms. Any term sought to be imposed by you in your order will not form part of the contract.
Classic Garden Games are entitled to withdraw from any contract in the case of obvious errors or inaccuracies regarding the goods appearing on our web site. If an error or inaccuracy is discovered with regards to the advertised price of the goods that you have ordered before the contract is made, Classic Garden Games will contact you as soon as possible by email
Shipping and Handling
Our products are securely packed and carried by Royal Mail or courier. There is a charge towards shipping costs.
Our couriers apply a surcharge for delivery to some addresses - Classic Garden Games will advise you if you fall into one of those zones. If you have special delivery requirements, please telephone us on 01803 292801 to discuss your needs.
Delivery will be made as soon as possible after your order is accepted and in any event within 30 days of dispatch of the order. All delivery times quoted on the web site are estimates only, based on availability, normal processing and delivery companies.
Availability of Goods
In the event that Classic Garden Games can't ship your chosen products for whatever reason, Classic Garden Games will endeavour to contact you to advise you of the situation as soon as possible. If Classic Garden Games has insufficient stock to deliver the goods ordered by you, Classic Garden Games will notify you as soon as possible and any sum debited by PayPal from your credit card will be re-credited to your account and Classic Garden Games will notify you by email at the address given by you in your order form. The refund will be made as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order. Classic Garden Games will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.
Credit Card Security
Your credit or debit credit card number will be encrypted when you place your order. Classic Garden Games Credit Card services are provided by PayPal, which uses secure encryption before passing your card number over the internet to our payment processor. Card numbers are not held in clear text on any web site and are not stored by us on any machine connected to the Internet.
